1
Adult Counseling
Our Adult Counseling program offers compassionate support to survivors of domestic abuse. Whether you've already left an abusive relationship or are still navigating one, our licensed counselors are here to help you heal and rebuild.
Through individual therapy, survivors can work through emotional trauma, strengthen self-esteem, and learn to recognize unhealthy relationship patterns.
This confidential service is completely free for adults staying in our shelter and is also available to community residents.
You're not alone—and healing is possible. Let us help you take the next step.
2
Child Counseling
We offer specialized counseling for children who have experienced trauma, using therapeutic approaches tailored to their unique needs. Our licensed counselors carefully consider each child’s emotional state, developmental level, and language and cognitive abilities to provide compassionate, age-appropriate care.
Our goal is to help children process their experiences in a safe and supportive environment, while also identifying, building, and strengthening a network of support to promote long-term healing and recovery.

Teen Counseling
Dating violence affects approximately 1 in 3 teenagers, a rate even higher than that of adult domestic abuse. Among high school students alone, the average prevalence is 22%.
Teen dating violence often stems from a combination of inexperience, a desire for independence, and reliance on peers who may also lack healthy relationship knowledge. It typically involves a pattern of coercive and manipulative behaviors, which—if left unaddressed—can lay the groundwork for continued cycles of interpersonal violence into adulthood.
Prevention requires a collaborative, comprehensive approach, including education, awareness, and early intervention programs. By equipping teens with the tools to recognize unhealthy behaviors and build respectful relationships, we can break the cycle before it starts.
